About Us

Albatross Villas was founded in 2005 by Charlie Webster at the age of just 19 years old, with the backing of his parents Mark & Helen.   Charlie was in his first year at the University of Brighton studying a Business Studies & Law degree when he suffered a setback with illness and whilst recouping at home, Charlie placed some adverts for his parents’ holiday home in Praia D’El Rey on the Silver Coast of Portugal.  Consequently he took a number of bookings and decided to build a small website where he could direct any interested clients to.   During the design process a number of Mark & Helen’s friends expressed an interest in also renting out their property in Praia D’El Rey and they were duly added to the new website.  Thus Albatross Villas was born.

 

Since the first year of Holiday Rentals the company has grown out of reputation, local connections and most importantly bookings.  Currently they manage the rentals of over 50 properties on a number of resorts on the Silver Coast and have recently added a hand-picked selection of Luxury Hotels including the 5* Marriott Hotel in Praia D’El Rey and the luxurious Hotel Albatroz in Cascais. 

 

Albatross Villas also offer a bespoke Villa Design & Consultancy Service and have a sister company in Portugal called Albatross Villas Lda, which is a registered Estate & Letting Agency. (AMI no. 8157) The sales company specialises in resales and new property on all the 5* Resorts on the Silver Coast including: The Praia D'El Rey Golf & Resort, Bom Sucesso Design Resort, Golf & Spa, Perola Da Lagoa Resort, Royal Obidos Golf & Spa Resort, Vila Das Vistas development, CampoReal Golf Resort & Spa and the exclusive Quintas De Obidos Country Club.  

They now have over 400 properties for sale in Silver Coast ranging from large 6 bed villas with infinity pools and spectacular ocean views to off plan apartments overlooking a Seve Balasteros Championship course.
